Tony is producing this show as part of a cross country documentary on open mic comedy entitled “The Open Road.” He’s reached over 1K on his goal of 5K thanks to everyone’s support on Kickstarter and was able to promote his fundraising efforts on stage during last week’s 4th of July event at The Downtown Independent with Dave Foley and Maria Bamford, who has been a strong supporter of Tony’s project. You too can be a supporter of The Open Road and check out The Red Herring’s parody of the Beverly Hillbillies theme song produced by Alejandro Spreanza here: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/721637620/the-open-road. The Kickstarter video features endorsements by Maria Bamford among others. You may even recognize one of the hobos in the opening sequence! Songs from Chasing Windmills will appear in Tony’s documentary which will be screened in film festivals across the country.
